Flower Vending Machine in Mexico:
How We Solved Nayax Payment Integration
YYX | Overseas Vending Project Case Study
Delivering a vending machine overseas doesn't necessarily mean the business is ready to start making money.
Recently, we completed a cashless flower vending machine project in Mexico.
The customer purchased a 10-compartment flower vending machine and planned to deploy it in the underground parking area of a local shopping mall. Once the machine arrived, however, the project encountered a challenge that many first-time vending operators may face:
The machine was ready, but the payment system wasn't.
The customer chose Nayax payment integration to support card and contactless payments. During implementation, however, the payment service provider required a strict KYC (Know Your Customer) verification process.
The customer encountered challenges with document preparation, merchant account verification, device activation, and system configuration. As a result, getting the payment system online took longer than originally expected.
For an unattended retail business, this is not a minor issue.
If the payment system isn't working, the machine isn't truly ready for business.
When the YYX team learned about the situation, we didn't simply treat it as "the customer's payment problem."
We stepped in and helped move the project forward.
How YYX Supported Nayax Payment Integration
Preparing the required documents for the Nayax account application and KYC verification
Understanding the payment platform's verification and activation process
Following up on the payment system integration progress
Configuring the vending machine to work with the Nayax system
Providing remote technical support for payment integration and testing
Conducting real transaction tests after system activation
Eventually, the customer successfully completed the Nayax account activation and payment system integration.
The 24/7 flower vending machine was officially put into operation, supporting credit cards, debit cards, and contactless payments for convenient access to fresh flowers.
This project reinforced something we strongly believe:
For overseas vending projects, customers often need more than just a machine. They need a complete solution that can actually be deployed and operated successfully.
Machine manufacturing, international payment integration, software configuration, remote commissioning, operator training, and after-sales support can all determine whether a vending project successfully goes live.
At YYX, our goal is not simply to deliver machines.
We want to help our partners bridge the gap between "buying a machine" and "running a real vending business."
We don't just deliver vending machines.
We help our partners get their vending business running.
